@cblgh went well-ish. I'm writing about the experience right now, I made so many mistakes leading up to the talk that had me giving the talk with so little sleep in that I had trouble focusing, but I think it went well, at least from the feedback I got.

yes! this whole week has been absolute madness, I had the chance of meeting, well not only meeting, like spending days on a train even, with folks I've interacted with online for years. The conference itself was pretty crazy too, I met 5 people who also try to figure out how to do programming from aboard a sailboat, and countless offgridders which is near the highest concentration of this type of people I've seen in a long while.

so rad 😀 that's enough folx to start a little traveling flotilla of craftspeople! sounds like you had a blast, and probably also like it's quite nice to be home again and to be able digest everything X)

haha, yeah, I'm so done with talking, I obliterated my voice while I was there from having conversation 18 hours a day with people. Now I'm taking a vow of silence for a week ;) and just generally being happy to getting back to doodling
