Week two of #drawtober comences!

Hunstanton Cliffs, and the old wreck that sits at the base of them.

Met a paleontologist walking there once who gave me a little lecture on how unique the cliffs were, and then stroked his long beard and said something to the effect of "of course, if your beard were as long as mine you would already know all of this" and tootled off.

Day 12 of #drawtober sees the first castle of this years drawings. Taken longer to get thethe first one this year.

One point to anyone that can tell me which castle it is.

Day 13.

I didn't have much time today for drawing, so what you get is this quick sketch of Happisburgh Lighthouse

For those of you acast of Norfolk, Happisburgh is pronounced Haze-Bruh, not as it is spelt. This is part of a fine tradition of place name wrongness in the county such as Hagham (Harf-um), Tackolneston (Tack-ul-stun), Wymondham (Wind-um), and many others.

Day 14 is Hunstanton lighthouse, and the random little bit of castle wall remaining near it.

Hunstanton is actually my favorite place on the planet.

Day 16.

A really rough sketch of a nearby abbey. I used to walk under that ruined tower on my way to work every day.

The next week or so are goi g to mostly be very rough sketches of things because I really have limited time. Unexpectedly this October became very busy. I wanted to do more than just li e drawings this year, but such is life.

Day 17 sees our first botanical drawing this year. Later than normal also.

Quick drawing of a dahlia.

Day 19.

Tgis very bad self portrait that will leave you none the wiser as to what I look like.

Day 20.

If anyone can identify who this is I will be greatly shocked. It looks nothing like the target, and shows just how bad I am at people.

Day 21.

Tge day I tried to draw Jessica Fletcher, and it came out Angela Merkel.
