If I were the richest man in the world I would do the same thing with Microsoft, starting by open sourcing all of their software and making Windows 12 a Linux distro (or maybe a freebsd fork,) compatibility with previous Windows versions be damned. Imagine the absolute meltdown that would ensue when corporations no longer have any support at all for old Windows versions, MS Office just becomes another OpenOffice fork with the old MS file format support stripped out.
Then over at the XBox division I would have all MS-owned games be forced to have native Linux clients developed with the SteamDeck as the target platform. The next version of the XBox would just be a Steam Machine with an XBox series-style controller.
