Currently using one to write the January community update 😉!

It would be perfect for me if it just had an added headphone jack 🎧, because I need TTS software to read long texts and books 📚!

@debby Yeah, that is quite frustrating, what I can do now though is get back to you concerning whether audio routing through the USB-C port works currently.

@jussi the device is provided with a front light so you can increase the brightness. It has an amber and blue light. Both can be toggled via the Gnome quick settings very easily.

Sorry I realized I didn't fully answer the question.

From having used it for a month, I have noticed it gets pretty bright, so it's pretty easy to use in pitch black like any other phone/tablet out there, except that it's e-ink 😝.

this is cool! What software are you using to write it (are you typing it out or actually handwriting it)?
in reply to Hippo 🍉

@badrihippo The program in the image comes with the PineNote, it's called Xournal++.

what is the situation with availability. The website says available now, but when I go to order it says out of stock. I was pretty actively following your announcement but I never saw it available. Did you under-order?
in reply to Marc Graham

@mgraham It's definitely still in stock and I can go through to just before I hit order. Could you explain in more detail what's happening?

There are some circumstances where we cannot ship to certain places as well, not sure if that is what's happening.

@gbraad You can find all of our official/affiliate resellers here 😀

pine64.org/affiliates/

Unfortunately there are no resellers on this page for China specifically.

so I have been using a pinetab 2 as an e reader. So would this work for me given my experience with pine devices? I basically just need a browser, software to load epubs and PDFs, and a decent pen. Is it heavy?
