I don't know how I feel about this, it feels like growth for Linux not in a right direction

Having closed-sourced Russian state backed software on my computer doesn't sit well with me. We have ClamAV, which admittedly is not as developed as commercial antivirus software, but it is at least #FLOSS and already in many linux distro repos.

Linux with proprietorship apps. Damn 🤯 😲
Why not developing their own opensource AV... Also I'm not happy with Foss android AV (hypetia) 😔

So why do I need this in an open source environment then?

Well, if I am to take a cyber assurance policy for my company where we only use Linux I need not only antivirus but a professional grade anti virus.

I am a bit hesitant to the Russian origin though. Panda and a few others seems to have similar products.

Same goes for my web services host, need to have AV.

So thanks for the article and may I look forward to a comprehensive guide to Linux AV products?
