Today I was banned from #Facebook because I shared a screenshot of a letter in a local newspaper.

The article criticised #fishfarming prominent position in the media. I believe that #trollfarm were used to make this picture flagged as #fakenews . Similar things happened when I shared another screenshot from Canada #fishfarms. This morning I was lazy and shared the image instead of searching for the link. I am surprised how the blue F silences activism. Is that legal?

That's terrible. I haven't used FB much for things where I'm seeking discovery... I don't think I'm very good at optimizing for discovery anyways (I've relied too much on Google search and YT). I'm curious though, did you share from your personal account or page/organization account? Which one got banned? Are you going to appeal?

@danwchan personal account, I don't share these things through our company as it is not relevant. However I have lost access to all my pages and the contacts. But it is a private network and they can do whatever they want. So I am backing up my data and that will be it.
