Hungry for justice
This morning i went to visit Suga Ray who is in day 6 of his #hunger #strike, drawing attention to our #CollectiveSurvival. He's calling for us to #struggle for #justice in front of the D.O.E. building the #government was eager to give to #amazon but have less eager to turn over to a #community land trust. Shuga ray takes a moment to talk to me about the trends in development he's seeing in our neighbourhood. He's wearing red pants and is sitting across from an empty chair, where I was sitting. Behind us there is a tent and the underutilized DOE building. We had a good time connecting and thinking about how we can support a struggle for justice with art and other collaborative acts.

Hungry For Justice: A Hunger Strike & Sleep-In

For the duration of 2 weeks, from Tuesday, February 28th until Tuesday March 14th (my 39th bday), I'll be conducting a hunger strike and subsequent sleep-in.
