@spike Now we just need to set up an account for the Apple //c on a server.

Would love to learn more about how you did this.

@andrewbrandt See colino.net/wordpress/en/binary… - spoiler alert, there's no magic, it needs an helper proxy for the TLS and the JSON πŸ™‚ @spike @ntnsndr @mediaarchaeologylab
in reply to Colin McMillen

@colin_mcmillen @andrewbrandt Thank you, that's very helpful. Since I'm also a MAL docent I'll reach out to Nathan to discuss the specific proxy settings/devices he used in the lab to accomplish this, so I can use it myself when I'm in the lab

I love that this is the sort of thing the fediverse community is doing, rather than, say, making VC pitch decks

Love to see it, ah nostalgia, slightly beautiful, slightly painful.

We had one of these in school and we did lessons with Pascal and I may be misremembering but maybe Logo as well (maybe that's a different memory).

@noellemitchell

That was my college computer in 1987. I had one of the only printers on the hall and everyone wanted to print their papers at 2am when the computer lab was closed. I gave it to my brother a few years later along with all the floppy disks and he thanked me for getting him some good grades because he reused my papers.
