Yes, they went back to the dress uniforms from "The Menagerie" during the trial of Spock, which takes place a couple of years after this in the timeline. Fantastic work on the costumes as always, I believe the costume designer is up for a costume Emmy award.
They also got the commendation/decorations right, and the polygraph armrest.
The episode, overall, was Trek at its best, an allegory calling upon us to be better. And this episode did a far better job than TNG's Justice, even if that did have Patrick Stewart declaring, "There can be no justice where laws are absolute!"
There were some intimations of TNG's The Drumhead, where Worf is co-opted into pursuing an admiral's quest to find and punish a non-existent enemy among the Enterprise's crew.
