Once More The Battle Ends up in the Court over Trump Administrative Overreach.

The ruling comes after Cambridge joined more than 30 other towns, cities, and counties in a lawsuit against U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner. The lawsuit argues that adoption of certain policies “in exchange for Continuum of Care funds is an abuse of executive power and violates the Constitution and federal laws,” according to a city statement.

US citizen says ICE mistakenly took him into custody outside Massachusetts courthouse


CAMBRIDGE, Mass. —A U.S. citizen said he was mistakenly taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents outside a Massachusetts courthouse Friday. He was later released after agents confirmed his identity. Hugo Monteiro, a 31-year-old Brazilian American from Revere, said he was taken by ICE agents outside Cambridge District Court when they confused him for another person.

Mass. Prisoners Could Choose Between Freedom And Their Organs


The legislation, HD 3822, states, “The Bone Marrow and Organ Donation Program shall allow eligible incarcerated individuals to gain not less than 60 and not more than 365 day reduction in the length of their committed sentence in [prison], on the condition that the incarcerated individual has donated bone marrow or organ(s).”
