Embedded Clusters:

These are like a "prequel" to open and globular clusters. As the youngest type of star cluster, they contain newly born and forming stars surrounded by cosmic gas and dust.

Hey there! Remember me? It’s Commander Moonikin Campos, and I’m taking over this account again… but this time, from the Moon!

As I write these Tweets, my crew and I are flying aboard the @NASA_Orion spacecraft in a distant retrograde orbit! nasa.gov/moonikin-comic

I am joined on the #Artemis I mission by my two trusted companions, Helga and Zohar, aka the #LunaTwins!

Not only are Helga and Zohar joining me here inside @NASA_Orion… they are also joining me here on @Twitter!

This #SmallBusinessSaturday, we're sharing a few examples of #smallbiz innovators who worked with @nasa @sbirgov to develop tech for our missions while impacting life on Earth. From a sustainable protein alternative to compactable satellite antennas, read on to learn more.
#NASATechnology

For humans to live far from Earth, we'll need food easily produced with minimal resources. With STTR funds, @naturesfynd & @montanastate developed a bioreactor to cultivate fungus into an edible protein. The tech will soon be tested on the @Space_Station: go.nasa.gov/3Vw0VZ6
#NASATechnology
in reply to NASA

fungus... Like mushroom? Also what about water and electrolytes.
in reply to NASA

Looks like a kitchen sponge. Hope they can make some with sri racha flavor.

Tendeg, LLC advanced its deployable parabolic antenna (commonly known as a dish antenna) with @sbirgov funds. This tech has supported @NASAEarth science and commercial missions, helping to capture images of the Earth’s surface for scientific research: go.nasa.gov/3u4B3ry
#NASATechnology

With the help of NASA STTR awards, woman-owned #smallbiz @MangoMaterials & the @coschoolofmines partnered to develop a system that produces a sustainable bioplastic from methane gas in space. But make it fashion – their tech could also be used on Earth: go.nasa.gov/3F3QyX6
#NASATechnology

Your #smallbiz can start its journey with the NASA Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) program by submitting a proposal to our Phase I solicitation, opening January 2023. Keep an eye on go.nasa.gov/3F3KDBh for updates!
