AUDIOVISUAL DISRUPTION proposes to dismantle the apparatus of audiovisual media arts and rethink it from a post-digital perspective based on hybridisation. Post-digital aesthetics are grounded in impure aesthetics that exploit the effects of digital computational systems as they deeply permeate all parts of contemporary life. It concludes with a series of artworks critical to the material, sociocultural and environmental consequences of digital technology.
