It would make far more sense to run someone such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Hillary is the death of the Democratic Party.
in reply to tom grzyb

Agreed @tom grzyb, but the democrats will not have anyone progressive. The rwnjs want to go in reverse while the dems want to stay still. Neither wants to move ahead.
in reply to tom grzyb

Then they die. And we all suffer the consequences.
in reply to tom grzyb

We should all recall the old metaphor: The shark who stops swimming forward dies.
in reply to tom grzyb

It is all about the money. There is no money for progressive people or ideas.

HRC is tired of the bullshite, she won't run again for any reason. Blunt fact. In fact, she wants nothing to do with all that...she prefers being on the sidelines watching & making smart-ass comments while not being involved.

The so-called progressives grumble like hell and haven't gotten jack shit done, ever. They look like a false-flag wing of the GOP to me.
in reply to tom grzyb

Yep. I had to hold my nose to vote for her last time.
in reply to tom grzyb

So-called progressives? Even those are few and far between. Warren?
in reply to tom grzyb

I give the people the benefit of the doubt. This entire endeavor is all about them, after all.

If them Dems run Biden or Hillary, perhaps it's finally time to run a real third-party candidate. Hopefully Trump will be in prison and the Republicans in disarray.
in reply to tom grzyb

There is no viable third-party in the US, unfortunately. The Green Party is internally hopeless, while the Libertarians are simply an arm of the Republican Party.
in reply to tom grzyb

You can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one gets filled up first.
in reply to tom grzyb

What the Dems should have done is give Biden a strong VP and have her be a public and positive face for them. But I haven't really heard anything from Kamala Harris. I was hoping she would take charge of fixing the police and prison problems the US has, but she clearly didn't.
in reply to tom grzyb

All minor parties and independents should unite under a single banner with the sole purpose to change the electoral system. That's the only way to get real change. But I agree it would be incredibly hard and quite unlikely.
in reply to tom grzyb

When I was with the Green/Rainbow Party in MA, I would urge people there to intersect with libertarians and # and anyone else who had some significant nexus point with us. Instead they have been doubling-down in some sort of (unstated) neo-Marxist ideology, which has proven entirely counter-productive.
