When I was with the Green/Rainbow Party in MA, I would urge people there to intersect with libertarians and #makers and anyone else who had some significant nexus point with us. Instead they have been doubling-down in some sort of (unstated) neo-Marxist ideology, which has proven entirely counter-productive.
