My experience with Ubuntu LTS has been definitely positive so far.
I've never been a fan of the gnome desktop after v2, but here it's so seamlessly integrated that I'm learning to live with it
It's more difficult to find some packages then on other (Ubuntu-based) distros, but if you jump a few hoops it can be done.
All in all it's a mature product, stable and polished, basically what I need as my everyday operating system.

GREAT, since i stopped using #UBUNTU for good! i don't use #LINUX distros that ask for "protection money" after you build your business.

You mean rebranded Debian 12 with "snap" and a company backing a "FOSS" distro?

Almost everything works for me. It even let me install Nvidia cuda without a problem.

The only issue I've got: my custom keyboard layout inside the qemu VM doesn't work, something that simply works on previous versions of Ubuntu and on the 24.10.

Hello, Ubuntu has unfortunately been providing a poor user experience in recent years. Especially the errors encountered in live installation environments and the lack of language translations leave a very poor impression both before and after the installation. In addition, some decisions made by Ubuntu give the impression that it acts as if it is a subsidiary of Microsoft.
