If something broken or flawed with the core part of Windows, you often can't do much about it.
While with FOSS systems like GNU/Linux, you can not only, sometime replace it with an another implementation, but also report it and actually see how much of an impact, reporting such bug can have to it's correction.

Pros:
Not being interrupted by an update, or being forced to.
Making the UI look how I want, not how some focus group reacted to positively.

Cons:
Games are getting there, but not 100%. Blizz things, specifically.
Some peripherals, like older Logitech G stuff, are lacking support.

it's good not having Edge stuck on the computer. My Bluetooth mouse stays connected, and I learn about cool new things.

I have to use Windows 10 at work and, recently, was issued a laptop running Win11. I'm amazed at how Microsoft continues to make workflow more difficult while any number of Linux distros and DE's continue to make it easier. Coming home to Linux is like leaving the bowels of hell and being greeted by a fresh, cool breeze.

very comparable experience with a single exception- connecting external monitors on Linux is sadly miles behind Windows

With GNOME 40 and beyond, the workflow feels much more intuitive for me coming from Windows 10.
