#DualBoot instead.
I've used linux for 25 years now and there are pieces of hardware I own that need firmware updates that can't be done on Linux, only #MacOS or #Windows tools exist from their manufacturers.
It's easy to say use #linux only, but in the real world some things require either Win or MacOS for drivers, in my case firmware updaters that enable or enhance expensive hardware to work or with current features. Even attempting a firmware update in WINE would brick them.
it's because of things like this that #Windows sucks... 🤮

Microsoft breaks some Linux dual-boots in a recent Windows update
Do you dual-boot Windows and Linux? Well, a recent Windows update seems to have been a bit messy and may have broken the ability to boot into Linux. Causing an alarming message to display of "Something has gone seriously wrong".Liam Dawe (GamingOnLinux)
(I got your point, but your example was not the best one 😉 )
I'm torn.
On one hand, a sudden blue screen is instantly recognizable by now as meaning the system is kaput. #Windows has made it quite infamous.
On the other hand, a black screen with a sad penguin, preferably accompanied by some chimes on the speaker, would be a lovely homage to the classic #Macintosh.
Window's AI-powered Recall feature is an absolute train wreck.
