gnome software, search for chrome, hit download, ready. Idk why people keep hyping cli installs while we have perfectly working GUI software managers like Gnome Software, even more impressive Discover, yum extender, synaptic etc.

Because you should install chromium instead of Chrome.
This will became a two step only.

Or best, Firefox, or both, still two steps.

Don't stay stick with Windows reflexes where you manually install stuff from Internet (and, it's unsafe)

Cheers

what a crap.

Linux:
- Long way: open software store > search for your app > hit install. Process: <60 seconds
- Short way: open terminal > type sudo pacman install "your_app" > hit enter. Process: <10 seconds

Windows:
- the most used way: open browser > search for your app> navigate through ads, trackers and spyware > finally download the installation kit > next, next, next, finish. Process: >120 seconds
