KDE developers confirm Plasma will continue having a maintained X11 session, and now we know Kubuntu will be Wayland by default.

We moved to Wayland as well no more X11. Can still be installed separately if needed..

Yep, I have telemetry turned on on my plasma, as it is clear what data is being sent, it is anonymous, I can check what data has been already sent at any time and I know KDE are a good guys (at least for now)

What is also nice is how well KDE Plasma 6.4 runs XWayland.

This is really important, as it'll take a long time before most X11 apps are updated to a Wayland session.

Some may never get there.
