I'm hoping my following from Twitter ends up finding me on here. I have like 6 followers so far which is kind of depressing lol

I'll listen in for a while I'm trying to figure out how to organize my feed with the influx of new people. What sort of people were in your Twitter following?

bioinformaticians, molecular biologist, microbiologist, guinea pig lovers, economists...a nice mix of people 😀

With the influx of new people I've been thinking about how I might want to reach out to my school friends throughout the ages and see if they want to sit on an instance with me.

I've been trying to but some people are holding onto Twitter till the bitter end. I'm sure they will eventually move over here. I don't mind if I get a new following either. 😀

I think as long as you're going slow, interacting with the stuff you like, filtering out the stuff you don't, and reporting the stuff that's bad you'll find a place on the fediverse

thats what I'm trying to do and so far it has been going ok. 😀 I'm definitely taking it slow.
