Megalodon dominated the world’s ocean for over 13 million years.

Modern humans have only been around for a few hundred thousand years. https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/megalodon--the-truth-about-the-largest-shark-that-ever-lived.html #nature #science #SharedPlanet

megalodon couldn't survive in modern oceans, Jason Statham simply wouldn't allow it. (I think I'm one of four people that would love to see Meg 2 get made 😅)

— Of course, Megalodon took nothing from the ocean except food, breath, and room to swim.

If you'd like to experience a "life-sized" megalodon in person, there's a model of one hanging from the ceiling in the west court of the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History on the Mall in Washington DC. And good news! You can have lunch underneath it and not worry that you'll be its lunch.

I’m gonna research their antibodies until I figure it out

very impressive, but would it frighten Jason Statham...probably not..🦈

it strikes me that the Megalodon must've had a better grasp of conservation of resources and population control than humans… I can't imagine that our species is capable of lasting that long. We're gonna wind up full cannibal in another couple of centuries…

I have a friend who is a marine biologist who specializes in sharks.

She would love your post.
