Once I was brainstorming with rms about GNU evangelism through artwork. One of my suggestions was a picture of Tux riding on a GNU. rms didn't like that idea. He didn't want GNU to be seen merely as a vehicle for running Linux. Instead, he pointed to the "dynamic duo" poster as a representation where the two are seen as equal: https://www.gnu.org/graphics/bwcartoon.html
