I love this film. Ponyo is super trippy, as is Howls Moving Castle. I might try to see them.

I think it, Ponyo, and Arreitty were the few Ghibli movies I managed to see in a theater on release.

Not going, but I started watching this, loved it, but had to turn it off because there was a lot going on, and finally forgot about it. So this is a great reminder, as well as one to finally watch Kiki's Delivery Service ❤

Spirited Away every time it’s back in theaters, which started before any Ghiblifest, and every Ghiblifest movie I could make, every year since they started having them!

It is quite the era, having so much anime in actual theater runs. Digital distribution has done wonders for foreign films of all sorts, but especially anime.

Nausicaä next, we go!
