Sometimes, you really do just need to run a Windows app on Linux and perhaps WinBoat might make this easier with its promise of "seamless integration".

That's Cool.

I'm a bit curios how this schould work with the Windows License.

So what I hope¸ this app could do is to install apps on a specific layer. Detect needed components (.NET, vcredist, etc), cause it Analyse the first start and let me move this layer to a prepared Wine.

hmm really interested in this. One of my stop gaps from going Linux (except laziness) was apps that needed for work which used since win7 or earlier. I was considering to stick to win10 and leave for Linux but this news give me more hope for easier switch to Linux.
(gaming is second reason to not switch from win10 but will do with what can to work)
