I spoke about it here yesterday which resulted in little more than name calling and insults towards me because I expressed my views on feeling #Linux & #OpenSource should be open to all. Linus handled it poorly and a lot of #xenophobia has been the result.

I think @LaF0rge had a much more eloquent take on it which I really appreciated.

The #LinuxFoundation should consider relocating to a neutral country, as dividing an already small community severely impacts collaboration. If it removes #maintainers from countries deemed adversaries, we risk losing vital #contributors over time, jeopardizing the future of #opensource development.

Im very sad to read that and my cold opinion is indeed that the project shouldn't be governed by US directives, but maybe I'm naïve from the US implication in the project. I'm curious to see what's next.
