in reply to It's FOSS • • •I don’t want to take a detour into conspiracy world, but there’s something about Proton that seems untrustworthy. Perhaps it’s their embrace of AI slop, their marketing tactics, or something else entirely, but I’m leery about trusting them.
Obviously they’re a better option than the giants, but my take is comparing them to more direct competitors, like @Tutanota and @ente.
