yes. Also, that there are well-resourced forces who are actively working to stoke social divisions in the US and elsewhere, often in subtle ways. So, we need to be careful about letting our anger be manipulated by professional trolls.

I find it hard to believe AI is sharing cat videos or pretty sunsets.

I can only imagine in 5 years the percentage getting way worse. Most of those hundred millions of Elmo followers need daily oiling. (Sorry, I visualize and old fashioned robot)

it’s scary how these bot farms can easily create thousands of profiles and spread disinformation.

Those bots are probably also sucking up more power than a real person and causing black-outs / power prices to surge. What a sad link to know at least 1 in 2 you encounter on the internet aren’t even human.
