GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) finally closing on the 3.0 release

For any of you who work with image editing on Linux for any reason, you've probably used the GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) at some point, well it's getting really close to the long-awaited 3.0 release now.

If 3.0 could please please just not be as crashy as all the betas have been up to now I'll be a happy person.

I'm given to understand it fixes quite a lot of stuff like the focus issues of 2.x. Fingers crossed because I'm going insane.
