Today marks 6 years since Valve decided to change everything, especially for Linux fans, with the announcement of Steam Play Proton. Thanks to it, the Steam Deck and Desktop Linux gaming have continued to thrive.

Yay! And… dumb question. Steam Deck rocks. On PC, many people are abandoning Windows… So how would someone turn a PC into a “big Steam Deck”?

Wild that it's *only* been 6 years. Thanks to it, I now have a 100% Linux dedicated gaming rig that would have been a chore to do before.
