in reply to kottke.org • • •It bears mentioning that the reason the #penguin chicks are so hesitant (to jump) is b/c this is typically done from FAR lower heights (often off a ground-level ice sheet), not a 50' cliff.
They are having to do this b/c so much of the lower ice has melted. 😞 #GlobalWarming #ClimateChange #ClimateCrisis
