@pixouls they're normal RPN? What output did you expect?
in reply to aburka 🫣

it's a window manager called porporo, running uxn windows. A kind of little operating system running Uxn instances.

@pixouls I have a little primer for RPN if you're like to learn more: https://wiki.xxiivv.com/site/notation.html

It's at the basis of stack machine arithmetic. Operators don't have precedence and you don't need parenthesis.

in reply to Devine Lu Linvega

@pixouls well I did expect a stack underflow when you entered `2 3 + 5 * /` but it just outputted 1... is there a trick there?

Calculators are my nemesis. I can't wrap my head around how to program one.

this kind of integration between applications is probably what a lisp machine dominated future would have looked like in a saner world

It reminds me the linux "jack system" for transferring audio, midi and osc between independent applications, bravo 😀
in reply to Joshua A.C. Newman

@JoshuaACNewman I love these little audio environments, I grew up with puredata, I've always wanted that, but as a desktop OS.

That’s exactly my Oblique Easel project with plugdata!

It’s got the entirety of Pure Data behind it, incidentally. It’s the whole fuckin thing in there, including ELSE and Automatonism.

I’m developing an IO board, the Oblique Palette, that integrates with analog signal, so we’re not trapped in a world of IO optimized for desk jobs.

moving them along, I used to do that in #enlightenment 16 with 'group windows'. But use it as well to send data from one window to another, that's unseen. What environment is that ?

and they have a complete emulator running on #NintendoDS !? I'm impressed ! https://github.com/asiekierka/uxnds
