I was recently honored to receive the Berryman Award for editorial cartooning from the National Press Foundation. Sharing a couple pics from the awards dinner in Washington, DC. I had a great time (and got to meet Al Roker!)

Pretty cool! I admire cartoonists, especially political cartoonist who can make a pithy point in one or two panels.

@Yoshi Most cartoonists I know just draw their own ideas, but I appreciate that you are offering to pay artists and advocate for causes through cartoons.

Thanks. I figure there are always good creatives who want to do this as a side hustle. As a 'tog, I always pay for talent bc I hate it when people ask, "Can you swing by and take a few shots, I don't have a budget to pay for a real photographer." 🤦‍♂️
