Artist Chelo depicts what we see - and what we don't see - on social media. I like the full-circle nature of this comic.

I’m guilty of this at times… the reason I got into open social media was to find spaces to break that habit.

Enjoy the skin you’re in and celebrate the life you have if you can. Bring attention to positives and also point out the negatives.

But most of all, log out and touch grass as much as you can.

i get what it's meant to say but the comic doesn't make any sense

So that everyone is included in the meaning here, a detailed #alt4you description, part 1 of 2:
Four-row comic, each row with a panel showing what's displayed on a phone in hand on the left, and on the right, a panel showing the person holding it.

Social media no different than our living rooms, kitchens, and ourselves when guests are coming.

Cleaned, polished, and at our best.

The remaining is hid away somewhere, not to be seen.

Don't try to imitate someone else in the naive hope you'd be happy then.

I mean... I'll take the heartache of losing a dog but having a spouse and not being hungry over the others... IDK.

The thing I'm most jealous of that I see on social media are:

1. the cool things people make that I wish I could make
2. the neat projects people are working on I wish I could working on

Mostly the best cure is to just tell them. That's so cool I wish I could do that wow!

Somehow that makes me feel better.

ah, this took me a couple of views but I get it now. It didn’t occur to me that the party on the right is the same party as the party on left in the next row.

In daily life, there is plenty of suffering to go around. Why do we seek out more on social media?
