SO GOOD! Not sure whether to laugh or cry, but chose the former.

Or a bunch of anti-plague citizens couldn't bring themselves to vote for a pro-genocide candidate. Even in a two-party system, it's overly simplistic to reduce the options to the dispassionate support of one candidate or the other.

Sometimes people simply won't pull the lever to divert the runaway trolley. Not because they think the larger number of victims should die, but because they can't morally participate in system which is inevitably going to crush people for no good reason.

I think this election defies easy explanations, including the ones I gravitate to because they align with my own values. In this current media environment, I'm not sure any policy difference would have actually changed the outcome.

have you thought considered the possibility that, in fact, a large amount of the country is politically stupid?

Can't imagine this election was about policy. Seems obvious to me it was straight up misogyny and racism.

MOST VOTERS JUST WANT A BRUTAL MASS MORTALITY
EVENT THAT WILL BRING DOWN THE PRICE OF EGGS

“I did my own research.* Did you know there have been no studies for the last 20 years—ZERO—linking plague to negative health outcomes? But lamestream media won’t cover it.”
