I feel like I've already posted all the good stuff last year, so I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel until I can go somewhere and take some new pictures.

The new year is still young and often gray and rainy (in the Northern hemisphere where we live).

If you can't get away, a macro lens makes entire universes out of your home and surroundings. So much to discover and photograph.

It is nice to see others who are still using old school cameras and film.

I miss kodachrome and ectachrome. Then there was the Agfa Isopan/ Isopan F / IF17 along with Ilford Pan F and the Kodak panatomix-X.

The OG Ambleside in the Lake District in England? Somehow every American city has two suburban cul-de-sac neighbourhoods called Windermere and Ambleside next to each other. I wonder who the American is who travelled to the Lake District and started it, and how it spread from there.

Pretty shot. I wish there was more bush though — wow that's unfortunate phrasing on my part.

@moribundmurdoch I agree, but there was a car in front of it that I wanted to avoid getting in the shot so I aimed a bit higher.

I was thinking about Photoshop (which I don't pay for anymore— that humbug is expensive). It's a nice photo regardless. I'm so used to the fake, AI-generated beauty, not the real deal. This is a real photo with real circumstances, lol. @moribundmurdoch@mastodon.online
