@ash It sure is! When there are less of them, I tend to put out one more pile of seed than there are parrots, and they still run around fighting over it.

It's not about the seed you have, as much about the seed you /could/ have. Seems to be the parrot motto.

@varx I suspect they think they have those slow, ground based human things well trained.

Beautiful birds ❀️ We get a lot of lorikeets and sometimes Rosellas, but never really see King Parrots in my part of Melbourne.

@artdragon86 They are indeed. The lorikeets sometimes come down to the veranda, but mainly stay in the treetops. We sometimes get Crimson Rosellas coming in for a feed, but the Pale-headed ones stay in the trees and have no wish to socialise with humans.

@PaulfromOz Yes, they're very much like that, all of them. There's usually one that is bottom of the flock per se, but they all have a go at each other initially, or when the seed piles are getting low.
