Have concluded that Mastodon, and perhaps the fediverse, is basically broken and unfit for purpose, because of this: campaign.openworlds.info/@math…

Feel free to change my mind, but only if you can solve the conundrum reported at the above link.

OK can someone explain this:
a) what I see in my app when viewing @openfuture's toot. No link!
b) when viewed in a browser. Link included.

My app only shows 3 toots. They have published over 50.

Is this my app (tusky), or is this a broken network?

this is a #openweb loosely connected network of trust links the is going to be some mess, so good not to get stressed over this, no idea about the issue, It's unlikely to be the instance as am an admin so should know... likely something broken in the loss bit of federation - what codebase are they posting from?

OK its mastodon, but from a Eurocratic institution, question have they added some security or admin option to increase security/control at their end? Remember the #Fediverse works on trust, so easy to break from this locking down? Just a thought?
