My favorite relevant fact is that even in Cleopatra's time, there were what we would now call archaeologists who were studying the same ancient monuments we are interested in today.
@Sheril. Yes, me too! As a student in my School days, I was enthused to read Roman History of 2000 BCE. Watched movies of such grandeur of that era, like Cleopatra, starring Liz Taylor many times! 🙂👍🌹❤️👏🙏
