That would be an introduced species! Not native to Australia at all, but the shell does look very much like one for a blackbird.

I'd be tempted to say that this is an Australia raven (Corvus coronoides), since we have plenty of them around here. However, the local Corvids lay brown eggs, as opposed to the blue-green eggs that ravens lay elsewhere in the world.
