#OTD in 1969, Apollo 12 astronauts Pete Conrad and Al Bean walked out to visit the inactive Surveyor 3 spacecraft that had been on the moon since 1967; collecting its TV camera, robotic scoop, and some cables, tubing, and glass for a return to Earth.
