I'm torn.

On one hand, a sudden blue screen is instantly recognizable by now as meaning the system is kaput. #Windows has made it quite infamous.

On the other hand, a black screen with a sad penguin, preferably accompanied by some chimes on the speaker, would be a lovely homage to the classic #Macintosh.

#Linux #BSOD

Add a few options to the system settings that allow each user to choose what the screen would look like on their system and what color it should display. Every Linux distribution can choose their own default screen color(s) in case the user does not specify a color.

In 2024, we are still limited to one specific color? My expectation is that we can at least choose to have gradients on a screen that we hopefully will never see.

Black *and* blue with greenish and purplish bruises.

how about no colour? Just a good kernel panic message identifying the problem with an understandable message.

A big thank you to the Devs for implementing this.
