Here I am beside my painting at the Eltham Art Show! This gives you a better idea of scale. Though, the camera focussing on me, means you don't quite see all the colour in the painting.

@Joyce Donahue If you look closely, you will see at the tip of the parrot's beak that water and snot are dribbling in a tiny torrent. I like pointing that out to people looking at him! hehe!

Thanks @Clarice Boomshakala Bouvier! This feathered friend is getting a second outing at the Eltham Library Community Art Show.

My favourite moment with this painting was when in delivering it to the one art show, a king parrot swooped down and landed on a branch just over where I was holding the canas while pushing the car door closed with my bum. The parrot then started yelling at my painting, "Oi! You! What are you doing in my territory?" (or perhaps words to that effect) Two other people also unloading paintings laughed their heads off!
