I think he was saying that indigenous peoples, colonized have had their worlds destroyed like this for 100s of years. Maybe the death cult is getting all of us now or something. There was a William James quote, must be from a 100 years or more ago, about how the current generation was wasting away the inheritance of the next generation at an unprecedented rate.. How to stop it?

Have been using the #deathcult hashtag as a synonym of #neoliberalism, which is old fundamentalist capitalism that has come in waves, look at "classical liberalism" of the Victorian era that lead to the Irish and Bengal famines. And the last 40 years of mess in the west.
This is a mess we need to compost agen.

I think the deathcult tag a good idea.. I just wonder if it should be pushed further to cover Nukes, MAD, Mutually Assured Destruction.. maybe the "classical liberalism" excuse to do stupid stuff is one aspect of a deeper, older problem...
I hope I'm not diluting the important attention-focusing effect of the tag though too.
