I am extremely disappointed, if sadly unsurprised, to learn that jj skolnik, per this post on Bluesky, has been laid off by #
Bandcamp. An excellent editor and union organizer/supporter, and the sale of Bandcamp to #
Songtradr is clearly already bearing bitter fruit.

I'm sad to hear this news and I sincerely wish you the best.

And our union has been lobbying Songtradr's CEO to recognize the bargaining unit going forward.

Bandcamp has been so important for small to medium artists and I would rather them succeed than fail.
I can only imagine how difficult it is for the union to bargain with these people.
