I'm waiting overall until they share what this device will actually be. If it's just another touchscreen only device, with fingerprint & face scanners, that needs a case to avoid it breaking before I've even charged it the first time, then I'm continuing to avoid #graphene in favor of systems like #lineage & #postmarket that offer decent diversity of device compatibility.

I have a Fairphone and the biggest gripe I have with it is Android. I still can't believe Fairphone haven't read the room and provided and alternative privacy based option out of the box without having to flash firmware and risk bricking your phone. this is interesting

Unfortunately, Fairphones are the only phones I will buy from here onwards. Graphene should look at them instead.

Also, even though sanxboxed, they are using the google play spyware instead of microg replacement. They should focus their resources on sandboxing microg.
