Some friends found an abundance of chanterelles and just gifted us some because we helped with foraging tips! I'm so happy because it has been a scant year for mushrooms, and I've never had chanterelles before.

coincidentally your mushroom stickers just popped into my feed yesterday. Hope you enjoyed the chanterelles!

Ha! What a coincidence! They were good but not great 😔 . Do you have a page or website where you talk about your work and/or research?

just my own one, which is a little out of date and due a big overhaul: https://shanefinan.org

I was having a trawl on yours too. Love the aesthetic.

The chanterelles we had were terrific. Just fried in some butter. But they lost a lot of bulk when the water fried off.

wow I’m so hyped about your work! Many interesting projects. Would you share some of your reading sources on posthumanism?

Also, happy about the yummy chanterelles!

wow that's a question! You might have already read many...I saw you are reading (have read?) 'Mushroom at the End of the World', which I adored. So similar-ish suggestions...

I love all of Vinciane Despret's writing, but particularly 'Living as a Bird', which is revolutionary.

Rosi Braidotti is useful to explore the different posthumanist schools of thought.

Karen Barad is just the best –especially her piece for Documenta 13 titled 'What is the Measure of Nothingness'.

In literature, Olga Tokarczuk is amazing.

My Bookwyrm covers a lot of what I've read, but it's not ordered by posthumanism specifically. If you use it then let me know and we could maybe try to make a list: https://bookwyrm.social/user/fionnain/books/read

thankful for your recommendations! They’re in my reading list. I don’t have a bookworm account but considering making one?

I love it but maybe not everyone's cup of tea.

I also forgot Bayo Akomolafe, whose article for Emergence Magazine called 'If You Meet The Monster Anoint Its Feet' is tremendous and another good resource. In fact, Emergence Magazine is pretty good overall for its writers embracing these ideas.
