Software licenses are a joke.

Gab still runs Mastodon and they haven't updated their source code for like a year now. Eugene (cuck) won't do shit.

Gab hasn't updated their software or they haven't published the source code for their updates? I asked who would do this because Eugene/Mastodon doesn't have deep pockets. A larger organization would have to do it. Is it the EFF or someone else? I don't know.

Why I was asking the question. It's one of those things where organizations with deep pockets can enforce their copyrights but small operators can't. It's actually not something unique to FOSS but a general problem, sadly. Ironically the people who have made the most hay with these systems are the patent troll companies, who are pretty small but focus all their energy on the grift.
