Inspired by Max Braun's PiSight, which used the now-20-year-old (!!) #Apple iSight webcam, we had a go at making our own.

Then we went the whole hog and wrote an entire tutorial showing you how to build a plug-and-play webcam using a #RaspberryPi camera:

Is there a reason/benefit for installing the packages by hand and not using https://github.com/showmewebcam/showmewebcam/releases ?

And yet, I still can't buy even RPI zero, except of overpriced sets, in my local RPI store ... It's been how long, like 2 years now?
