That's an impressive project. I'll have to spend some time looking into it and see if there's anywhere on the project I could be useful.

@drulum that's a very neat project. I had considered using a pi and a pi camera in combination with memory sticks as a video camera for my YouTube videos but have not got past the consideration stage.
