will have to try this out, I ended up giving up on Windows - using Linux was much easier.

Good work! Embedded C toolchains have always been a bit of a pain to set up.

Or you can use #Rust, where the tooling already works great on Windows ;)

thanks for this. I've been using WSL2 and Pico which works pretty well. I'll give this a go too though!

but surely, Windows users are a minority - trailing behind even train spotters. You can spot then... They wear the same grubby anoraks.

this is awesome. Now, could the pico also do jtag without losing swd support? (Aka, 1 firmware to do this?)
